AUGUSTA - A proposal before the Joint Select Committee on Maine's Energy Future could put Maine on a path to a more secure economic future by establishing a robust new program to design and deliver the most effective energy efficiency for Maine consumers of heating oil, kerosene and propane, and build on the state's existing efficiency programs.

It is an honor to serve as the 99th Speaker of the Maine House of Representatives. From our smallest fishing and farming villages to our bustling cities, Maine people are resourceful and hard working. Those qualities are reflected in the people who represent them at the State House. This session will be very busy as we focus on getting people back to work and securing Maine's energy future. I hope to use this website to share information about me and my record, the issues our state faces, the actions of state government, and how you can get involved, so please stay in touch.
